Tidal Ear is the solo project of guitarist/singer/songwriter Jeff Krinks. Drawing inspiration from mainstream ’80s and ’90s rock, Tidal Ear bridges the gap between the era’s classic roots and more modern elements. The songwriting is driven by electric guitar and melodic hooks, covering an expanse of sonic landscapes within the pop-rock genre.

Krinks handles all the vocals and instruments on Tidal Ear’s debut EP Lying by Omission (released June 2023), including guitars, bass, keyboards and drums, forming a dynamic foundation for his lyric writing.

With origins in New Jersey – followed by a stint in Los Angeles – Krinks is currently based in Nashville, where he has recorded and performed in numerous music groups for the past 20+ years.
